In this uplifting conversation Martin tells his story about his successful but very stressful corporate career then overcoming personal trauma and family tragedy and Stage 4 cancer in 2012. The he describes how he transformed his life and health finding a team of mentors and new practices along the way as he discovers his passion for health and nutrition and moves into many kinds of help and service to others on the global stage.

Biography

Martin is an entrepreneur, recognised Globally as a leader and visionary with a passion for a healthy lifestyle, and is the CEO and Founder of Tackling the Silence, with a focus on mental wellness / nutritional health/men’s wellness, and mental wellbeing. He believes that change is necessary for society, including teaching wellness, good nutrition, holistic health, connection and optimism.

A regular columnist for several media outlets, an International Bestselling Author and recognised in 2021 as a Global Leader for contributions to sustainability and mental health projects. Martin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management & Nutrition, a Master’s Degree in International Marketing, and post qualifications in mental health and Nutritional and Environmental Medicine. Currently writing a book on the A – Z of Corporate Language to Healthy Thriving

Gaining over 30 year’s International Business experience, including recruitment, Technology, and Cyber Security, leading teams and people across many portfolios, transforming organisations, making many mistakes along the way, and daily, is now thriving working with a collaboration of amazing people from across the globe.
